We are Deepika and Vasuki — two young mommies, two friends and the two hearts behind The Muse Nest.

Motherhood brought us together in a way we never imagined. Deepika, a mom to a little girl, and Vasuki, a mom to a little boy, found us sharing the same little struggles every mother knows.

Clothing Made for Little Adventures

We were blessed with the beautiful experience of raising both a baby girl and a baby boy. Through our little ones, we began to understand their different needs, their little preferences, their dressing styles and most importantly, what makes them feel comfortable.

On the other hand, Vasuki’s son, Prahen, was equally particular about what he wore. The moment a fabric felt rough or uncomfortable against his skin, he would simply refuse to wear it. For him, comfort was everything.

Though our experiences were different, we found ourselves facing the same question:

Why should finding comfortable, gentle, and beautiful clothing for our little ones be so difficult?

That was the moment our journeys came together.

Deepika’s daughter Aarohi has eczema and extremely sensitive skin, which meant choosing clothes was never about how beautiful they looked. Every fabric, every seam, and every little detail had to be chosen with care. Finding clothes that felt gentle on her delicate skin became an important part of motherhood.
